I was born and raised in Cairns, Australia and went to university in Townsville at James Cook University where I first studied Marine Biology followed by Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While Studying I met Jessica, who later became my wife. I moved back to her home state of Minnesota, America and currently work as a researcher at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. We have three children, a dog and a cat.
